Alison Pill

Pill began her career with her first film in Canada, but it was only a few years later she appeared for the first time in the American film market. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill got a role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey, and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would Have, Would've, and Should've" which was co-written and directed written and acted by Naren Shakar. Pill has worked on Picard for a year, later appeared as a secondary role in Devs the science fiction mini-series made in collaboration with FX Productions and Hulu. She played the exact same role, Katie, in each episode, much like she had in Picard. The similarities with Picard were not just limited to the similarities in Picard as the major theme of the series was furthermore revealed to revolve around the preservation of consciousness in an artificial construct, as similar to the ones Data could be preserved and revealed within the Picard season 1 conclusion "Et the In Arcadia Ego, Part 2".
