Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay was born on the 24th of August 1972 at Long Beach California. Her aunt Denise was a great influence on her enthusiasm for art and creativity. Her aunt worked in the evening shifts as a nursing assistant, so she could follow her passion for art literature and theater in the daytime. Her summers in Alabama's Selma would inspire her later to make an animated film on Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. DuVernay graduated with a graduation certificate in Saint Joseph High School, Lakewood California in 1990. In the year 1990 she completed her studies at Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood California. DuVernay started producing for the broadcast industry while she was in her the college.
